The encoder type ME14-02 is a very rugged unit which is suitable for easy mounting. The ME14-02 was originally designed to be mounted as the top part of the meter which is reducing the system cost, preventing leakage through the bearings. This design also limits theft of fuel in combination with the built electrical features.

The type ME14-02 encoder has been tested and granted ATEX, IECEx and MID part certificate.
The Ex marking is “II 2 G Ex db IIB T6”.
