Eltomatic has developed several incremental encoders for customers using our patented magnetic detection scheme. These encoders are completely integrated with the flowmeter, where the magnetic disk is placed outside the encoder housing. The encoder can either be built into the flowmeter housing or it can be mounted at the end of the flowmeter. Development of such kind of integrated encoders is always done in close cooperation with the developers of the flowmeters.
Our magnetic encoder are tested and granted ATEX, IECEX, and MID part certificates.
Magnetic encoder ME14-02
The encoder type ME14-02 is a very rugged unit which is suitable for easy mounting. The ME14-02 was originally designed to be mounted as the top part of the meter which is reducing the system cost, preventing leakage through the bearings.

The rotational detection in ME01-02 is made with a magnetic code disk and a Hall sensor using our patented magnetic detection scheme
